New Faculty Orientation SignupNew Faculty Orientation (NFO) - New Faculty Orientation (NFO) will be Monday, August 10 in the Old Main Room at the Bone Student Center from 8:00 am–3:45 pm. Join us for a day-long introduction to Illinois State University’s vision, values, culture, history, students, programs, resources, and more. It’s an excellent opportunity to meet other new faculty and identify some of the people and services that can make your first year at ISU a smooth one. New Faculty Reception - You and a guest are invited to a reception hosted by President Al Bowman and Provost Sheri Everts. The reception will be held at the University Residence, 1000 Gregory Street, from 4:00–6:00 pm on Monday, August 10. (Maps will be available at New Faculty Orientation.) New Employee Orientation - You can’t miss this session! Sign up for your health, dental, and life insurance as well as other optional benefits. Also, learn details about your retirement plan. A Benefits Counselor will be on hand to guide you through your myriad choices. We’ll also introduce some of the technologies you’ll need as you begin teaching, researching, and fulfilling other professional commitments at the University.
